The time is drawing near...are you excited. Thursday, August 8th will be the first day of school for students and it will be here before you know it. In preparation, I would like to share some important dates for Southwestern Middle School.
July 15 - Online Registration going on now.
July 30 - NEW Student Registration from 9 am - 2 pm.
July 31 - NEW Student Registration from 12 pm - 6 pm.
August 5 - SIXTH Grade Orientation from 6 pm - 8 pm.*
August 7 - Middle School Open House from 6 pm - 8 pm.**
August 8 - School Officially Begins
*This is for ONLY for sixth-grade students and their parent/guardians. Please plan to enter the school at 5:45 pm through the cafeteria doors (A10). This event will begin promptly at 6:00 pm and continue with scheduled activities until it concludes at 8:00 pm. Make every effort to be in attendance for the entire event.
**The Middle School open house is for students and parents of the middle school ONLY. This event is an open house format and parents/guardians and students are encouraged to come and go freely during the 6 pm - 8 pm window. This is a great opportunity to meet the staff, bring school supplies, set up lockers, and practice locker combinations. No schedule changes will be conducted during this event.
